Ireland centre Robbie Henshaw could make a surprise return for Leinster in Saturday's Champions Cup semi-final against Scarlets at the Aviva Stadium.
Henshaw has been out of action since injuring his shoulder during Ireland's 56-19 Six Nations win over Italy in Dublin on 10 February, but the 24-year-old took full part in Leinster's warm-up exercises ahead of Saturday's 17-15 Guinness Pro14 defeat to Benetton Rugby at the RDS.
"As you saw he was running around there, so he's getting closer," Leinster head coach Leo Cullen told the Times [Ireland].
"The hope is he completes full training this week, it was good to get him back for the match-day warm-up.
"He did a good bit of training last week, he's getting closer."
Cullen also expects Sean O'Brien to be fit for the game against Scarlets, after the openside flanker played 40 minutes of the match against Benetton following a shoulder injury.
"We're just trying to manage Sean coming back," Cullen continued.
"He's a little bit sore around his shoulder. He could have gone back out."
Munster face Racing 92 in the European Champions Cup semi-final at the Stade Chaban-Delmas in Bordeaux on Sunday, 22 April, live on BT Sport 3 on the eir Sport pack [kick-off 3.15pm Irish time].
