Herring and Ah You join Ulster injury list

Ulster duo Rob Herring and Rodney Ah You have been ruled out for six weeks.

Both Herring and Ah You sustained knee ligament injuries in the Guinness PRO12 defeat to Leinster and the pair are expected to be sidelined for at least six weeks.

Director of Rugby Les Kiss has a lengthy injury list to contend with Wiehahn Herbst out for between four and six weeks as a result of the calf muscle tear he suffered in training.

Craig Gilroy also picked up an injury in training and will miss this week's game against the Scarlets, while Roger Wilson will sit out the game due to the knee injury he sustained at the RDS.

Kiss is sweating over the availability of Ruan Pienaar for the upcoming European Champions Cup ties.

Pienaar injured his right knee against Leinster and will visit a specialist this week to determine the full extent of the problem.
