Scott Hogan is on the verge of a £15m switch to Aston Villa after West Ham pulled out of a deal to sign the striker.
The Hammers had been strongly linked with the Brentford hitman but Slaven Bilic declared their interest to be over.
As a result it is believed Villa have agreed a £15m fee to sign the 24-year-old and he will have a medical later on Tuesday before completing the move, personal terms having already been met.
"I believe that we have really good strikers in our squad and that's why we won't have a Hogan deal," Bilic said.
"Definitely a good player, good age and scoring goals in the Championship. It's not a question of him, it's a question of what we've already got in the squad."
