Horan makes changes for Cavan tie


Mayo manager James Horan has made five changes to the team that defeated Tyrone for Saturday's Allianz Football League clash against Cavan.

Horan has handed starts to midfielder Matthew Ruane and corner-forward Colm Moran with the latter set to make his competitive debut for the county.

David Clarke returns in goal as Ger Cafferkey starts at full-back, while the final change sees Evan Regan named at corner-forward.

Rob Hennelly, Brendan Harrison, Donal Vaughan, Ciaran Treacy and Brian Reape are the players who miss out on selection for the game at MacHale Park, which is live on eir sport 2.

Mayo (SF v Cavan): D Clarke; S Coen, G Cafferkey, K Higgins; L Keegan, M Plunkett, P Durcan; D O'Connor, M Ruane; F McDonagh, A O'Shea, J Doherty; E Regan, A Moran, C Moran.
