Ireland confirm dates for Japan tour
The Irish Rugby Football Union has confirmed the dates for Ireland's 2017 summer tour to Japan.
Ireland will face Japan on June 17 and 24, 2017, with venues and kick-off times due to be confirmed early in the New Year.
Joe Schmidt is expected to be without some of his first-choice starters due to the British and Irish Lions' tour to New Zealand. Indeed, the second Test will take place on the same day that the Lions face the All Blacks in their first Test.
Ireland have come out on top in each of their five meetings with Japan with the most recent fixture back in 2005.
