Irish provinces to feature on eir Sport pack

All four Irish provinces will feature on the eir Sport pack during the first four rounds of the 2016-17 European Rugby Champions Cup.

BT Sport, which is available as part of the eir Sport pack, will show 21 matches over the first four weekends of action, including seven involving the Irish provinces.

Leinster's games against Castres as well as the double header against Northampton Saints are live on the pack along with Munster's back-to-back games against Leicester Tigers.

Glasgow Warrior's Pool 1 clash with Leicester Tigers gets things underway on Friday, October 14 before Leinster host Castres at the RDS the following afternoon. The same day, PRO12 champions Connacht kick-off their Champions Cup campaign with the visit of Toulouse to the Sportsground.

The BT Sport cameras will be at Kingspan Ravenhill on Saturday, October 22 for Ulster's clash with Exeter Rugby, while Munster feature on the eir Sports pack on Saturday, December 10 when they host Leicester Tigers.

“We’re delighted to be able to bring viewers of the eir Sport Pack exclusive live action involving the four Irish provinces over the first four rounds in the European Rugby Champions Cup," Brian Quinn, Operations Director of eir Sport said.

“You won’t be able to see Leinster and Munster’s back to back games against Northampton Saints and Leicester Tigers anywhere else.

“it’s more great content in addition to our exclusive coverage of UFC 202 Diaz v McGregor 2 tomorrow night, Premier League fixtures and much more which can be viewed on the eir Sport Pack."
