Janssen completes Tottenham move

Vincent Janssen has signed for Tottenham, the Premier League club has confirmed.

The Netherlands international confirmed on Friday that the two clubs were close to agreeing a transfer fee after he was given permission to skip training.

Following a slight delay, Janssen, who scored 27 goals in 34 games for AZ Alkmaar last season has now signed a four-year agreement to join Mauricio Pochettino's side.

"We are delighted to announce the signing of Vincent Janssen from AZ Alkmaar, subject to international clearance," the club said in a statement.

"The striker has signed a contract with the Club until 2020."

Janssen becomes Tottenham's second signing of the summer following the arrival of Victor Wanyama from Southampton.
