Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has been voted the PFA Players' Player of the Year.
Kante moved to Stamford Bridge after winning the Premier League title with Leicester last season and he is on course for a second successive medal with Chelsea currently four points clear at the top of the table.
The Frenchman has been a key member of Antonio Conte's squad this season and he secured the most votes from his fellow players to be crowned Player of the Year ahead of Chelsea team-mate Eden Hazard, Tottenham's Harry Kane, Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, Zlatan Ibrahimovic of Manchester United and Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez.
Should Chelsea hold off the challenge of Tottenham in the title race, Kante will become the first player to win successive Premier League titles with different clubs.
"It's a huge honour to be chosen by the other players. It's the biggest honour to get this award," Kante said.
Hazard came second with Ibrahimovic third after an impressive debut season in England.
Meanwhile, Tottenham's Dele Alli was named PFA Young Player of the Year for the second successive season, with former Manchester United midfielder David Beckham picking up the PFA'a Merit Award for his contribution to the game.
