Dundalk boss Stephen Kenny has admitted his side will hold no fear when they face Maccabi Tel Aviv in their upcoming Europa League tie.
The Lilywhites go into the game on the back of an admirable 1-1 draw against Dutch side AZ Alkmaar in their opening game of group D.
Kenny will be aware of the threat that the Israeli side pose after they toppled rivals Hapoel Tel Aviv 5-0 in their last league game.
"We've earned a right to be here and we are fully aware that a win tomorrow night could put us possibly on top - at least in first or second place in the group," Kenny told RTE.
The former Derry City manager also insisted although his players will be aware of Maccabi Tel Aviv’s attacking quality, his team can also cause problems.
"There are plenty of threats with Maccabi, but we have quite a few ourselves and we are not inhibited or in any way feel inferior." He said.
Dundalk’s Dane Massey feels he and his teammates will be up for the challenge in their latest European escapade.
"Everyone's really looking forward to it," he said. "Everybody loves playing in Tallaght, it's a great pitch and a great arena."
