Liverpool are prepared to sell Christian Benteke if the price is right, manager Jurgen Klopp has said.
Benteke moved to Anfield in a £32.5million transfer from Aston Villa last summer, but the striker only started just 14 of Liverpool’s 38 Premier League games last season as he found himself frozen out following Klopp's arrival in October.
The 25-year-old recently admitted that he might be forced to look for another club if he does not feature in Klopp's plans for the season and the manager has suggested that it would make sense for him to move on.
"Everyone knows about it and I think Christian Benteke has already said it that maybe it makes sense for him to go to another club," said Klopp.
"He is still a great striker. We have a few more strikers and makes more sense for us to give them match time and that's what we have done.
"If clubs want our strikers then they have to make real offers otherwise we will find solutions.
"If there is an offer we will think about it. If not, we will think about it."
