Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has no plans to sign a new goalkeeper.
Current number one Simon Mignolet has come in for some criticism in recent weeks with the Belgian blamed for conceding an indirect free kick for holding the ball too long in the Europa League tie against Bordeaux last week, which resulted in the French side taking the lead.
Klopp has the option of bringing Adam Bogdan into the starting team but he has also been linked with a move for Standard Liege goalkeeper Guillaume Hubert as well as Stoke's Jack Butland.
However, the manager insists he is not looking to bring in a new goalkeeper.
"I am absolutely satisfied with the goalkeeping situation. Sorry to kill your stories. We're not looking for a goalkeeper," Klopp told reporters.
"We are not looking for another goalkeeper. We have enough high quality ones here.
"I’ve worked with a lot of goalkeepers over the last few years and Simon Mignolet is one of the smartest I’ve ever had.
"He is open, completely open and young enough to develop and improve. Since I’ve been here, there’s nothing to criticise. He is a good footballer and everything is okay with him.
"Everyone is watching for the new Manuel Neuer or something like this, but we’ve got to help our goalkeeper and give him the ball in the right situations and not hope he’ll play the final pass for a goal or something!"
Bogdan could be named in the team for Wednesday's Capital One Cup quarter-final against Southampton, with Klopp set to meet with his coaching staff before making a decision.
"I haven't spoken to John Achterberg (goalkeeping coach) about it yet. Adam could play but we will decide later," he said.me opportunity for furthering the contribution of China to the global football family."
