Lacazette ruled out for six weeks

Alex Lacazette has been ruled out for between four and six weeks after undergoing a minor procedure on his knee.

The 26-year-old underwent surgery on Tuesday and will be sidelined for at least a month as he recovers, ruling him out of both legs of Arsenal's Europa League tie against Ostersund as well as the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal.

“Striker Alex Lacazette had an arthroscopy on his left knee in London on Tuesday morning," a statement from the club read.

“The minor procedure was a success and he will now undergo a period of rehabilitation.

“It is envisaged that he will return to the squad within four to six weeks."
