Adam Lallana could return to the Liverpool side for Sunday's Premier League clash with Bournemouth, manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed.
Lallana has missed Liverpool's last three games due to the groin injury he picked up an during England's draw with Spain last month.
He has returned to full training and will be assessed by the medical team before a decision is made on his availability for Sunday.
"Yes there will be a few changes," Klopp confirmed at his pre-match press conference. "I am happy about each player back in training.
"Adam is training, yesterday was the first session. We need to see how he reacts. Yesterday was quite intense."
Roberto Firmino has been struggling with a calf problem and Klopp is hopeful he will be available.
"Roberto trained yesterday too. It is painful but not that serious. He is quite a tough guy," Klopp confirmed.
Liverpool are unbeaten in 15 games in all competitions but they face tricky games against Bournemouth, West Ham and Middlesbrough in their next three games.
All three teams are in the bottom half of the table and Klopp is anticipating a tough run of fixtures.
"Bournemouth are doing really well and were unlucky against Arsenal last week. They could have had a penalty," he said.
"West Ham have a lot of quality and we should not look at their position in the table.
"Middlesbrough away, everyone has had problems there. I can't see those games as an easy journey. They are all tough games."
