Connacht head coach Pat Lam has announced that former players Conor McPhillips and Eric Elwood are to join his backroom team.
Former scrum-half McPhillips will take over as backs coach, while Elwood's services have been retained on an advisory basis to work with the goal-kickers.
They replace Andre Bell who fulfilled both roles for the past two seasons but has now returned home to New Zealand to be with his family.
Lam believes the new appointments will help his squad achieve even greater things next season.
"I believe that any team is only as good as the quality of the management team and the coaching group in place to run the programme," he said.
"By striving to improve each player to become a better rugby player and a better person, we will improve as a team and I have a lot of confidence and belief in our coaching group that we can continue to do that."
McPhillips spent five years as a player at the Sportsgrounds and was appointed head performance analyst in 2010. He was also named assistant attack coach last season.
Elwood, meanwhile, has served Connacht as both a player and head coach and has 35 Ireland caps.
