Leinster announce men’s and women’s double-header

Leinster will launch their new season with an exciting double-header next month featuring both the men’s and women’s teams.

Leo Cullen’s PRO14 champions will kick off their pre-season campaign with a warm-up game against Coventry at Energia Park, Donnybrook on Saturday, August 17th at 3pm.

That game will be followed by the Leinster Women’s team who open the defence of their interprovincial title against Connaught at 5.30pm.

It’s an exciting move which is sure to boost the profile of women’s rugby throughout the province and beyond.

The Leinster men’s team then head to Canada for their second warm-up game against the Canadian national team, while the women’s team continue their campaign away to Ulster and home to Munster on August 24th and 31st respectively.
