Leinster boss Leo Cullen hailed his side's application in claiming a bonus-point victory over Edinburgh in the Pro12.
The Dublin-based outfit opened up a five-point lead over Connacht at the top of the standings with Friday night's 30-23 win at the RDS.
Following a first period that featured no tries, scores from Luke McGrath and Josh van der Flier, along with a Fergus McFadden brace, saw Cullen's men take the maximum haul from the encounter.
"The first half was frustrating - just nearly, nearly getting over," said the former Ireland lock. "Edinburgh went hard at the ball and frustrated us at the breakdown.
"I think we wore them down in the first half, which allowed us to break them down a little easier in the second half. I think the guys had really good intensity."
The application shown the Leinster troops delighted Cullen.
"Everyone is really trying hard,” he continued. “I thought the intent was great.
“I couldn't fault the effort of the players. They had a really positive mindset."
Leinster's closest challengers at the top of the table, Connacht and Glasgow, face Scarlets and Munster respectively on Saturday.
