Leinster are set for a tricky campaign opener against Benetton in Treviso as the PRO14 resumes on the last weekend in September.
The 2018-19 champions travel to Italy on Saturday, September 28th to take on last season’s surprise package who made it to the knock-out stages for the first time in their history before being edged out by Munster in a tight encounter at Thomond Park. Kick-off is set for 5.15pm Irish time.
The Leinster faithful will have to wait until the following weekend to see Leo Cullen’s charges on home soil as they entertain Welsh side Ospreys at the RDS on Friday, October 4th (KO 7.35pm). They welcome Edinburgh to the RDS exactly one week later for another Friday night encounter on October 11th (KO 7.35pm).
Munster begin their campaign at home to Dragons on Saturday, September 28th (KO 3pm) before heading to South Africa to take on Southern Kings on Saturday, October 5th (KO 3pm Irish time) and Toyota Cheetahs a week later on Saturday, October 12th (KO 5.15pm Irish time).
Ulster are the first of the Irish provinces in action as they take on Ospreys at the Kingspan Stadium on Friday, September 27th (KO 7.35pm) before also making their way to South Africa where they play Toyota Cheetahs on Saturday, October 5th (KO 5.15pm Irish time) and Southern Kings the following Saturday, October 12th (KO 3pm Irish time).
Connacht open their campaign with a tricky trip to Wales to take on Scarlets on Sat, September 28th (KO 5.15pm). Andy Friend’s men welcome Benetton to The Sportsground in round two (Saturday, October 5th KO 7.35pm) before heading back to Wales to take on Dragons in round three (Friday, October 11th KO 7.35pm).
The campaign, which will see 75% more 3pm starts than last season, will kick-off in South Africa on Friday, September 27th with Toyota Cheetahs v Glasgow Warriors in Bloemfontein (KO 6.05pm Irish time).
