Lexus an option for Many Clouds
Many Clouds is being considered for a run in the Lexus Chase following his impressive win in the Becher Chase on Saturday.
The 2015 Grand National winner produced a superb round of jumping to land the feature at Aintree on his seasonal reappearance and connections are once again dreaming of a tilt at the famous steeplechase in April.
Trainer Oliver Sherwood had previously intimated that he would be heading to Cheltenham for the Cotswold Chase but hr has revealed a trip to Ireland for the December 28 will be given serious consideration.
"He's grand, absolutely grand. He won't do a lot for a few days, but I'm very happy with him. He's come out of his race super," said Sherwood.
"I haven't got a definite plan yet.
"We'll seriously look at the Lexus, but I want to see how he is over the next week to 10 days before committing him either way."
