Liverpool have completed the signing of Saido Mane in a £30million transfer from Southampton.
Mane completed his medical on Monday before putting pen to paper on a five-year contract with the 24-year-old becoming the club's third-most expensive acquisition behind Andy Carroll and Christian Benteke.
Mane moved to Southampton from Salzburg in 2014 and went on to score 21 goals in 67 Premier League appearances, including two in the Saints 3-2 defeat of Liverpool in March.
He will officially become a Reds player on July 1.
"I knew Liverpool were interested in me, I had some [other] opportunities, but I think for me this is the right club, the right coach and the right moment to change," Mane told the club's official website.
“I am very happy to be a part of Liverpool Football Club.
“He [Klopp] said he wanted me to come to play for Liverpool. I didn’t even have to ask myself, I said straight away ‘yes, I am interested’ because I know Liverpool.
“I am convinced Liverpool are the right club for me with the right coach.”
Mane is Liverpool's fourth new signing ahead of the 2016-17 season following the arrival of ollowing Marko Grujic, Joel Matip and Loris Karius.
