Liverpool striker Sadio Mane has been ruled out for up to six weeks after tearing his hamstring playing for Senegal in the World Cup qualifiers.
Mane was substituted after 89 minutes of Senegal’s 2-0 victory over Cape Verde on Saturday, with the injury confirmed by Liverpool today.
His lay-off will start this week as Manchester United visit Anfield on Saturday, in a period on the sidelines that means he could also miss Premier League and Champions League clashes against Maribor [twice], Tottenham, Huddersfield, West Ham, Liverpool and Sevilla.
