Liverpool have been drawn to face Spanish side Villarreal in the Europa League semi-finals.
The Reds, who qualified for the last four after a stunning 5-4 aggregate win over Borussia Dortmund, will play Marcelino García Toral's side at the El Madrigal on 28 April, with the second leg at Anfield on 5 May.
Liverpool have had three previous semi-finals against Spanish sides in the UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League.
Their last meeting against a La Liga side in the Europa League semi-final was an away goals defeat to Atletico Madrid in 2010, but on the other two occasions, where they beat Barcelona in 1976 and 2001, Liverpool went on to win the trophy.
Villarreal haven't recorded victory over an English side in European competition in ten matches, with six draws and four defeats since they beat Everton in the 2005-06 Champions League qualifiers.
In the other semi-final, Shakhtar Donetsk will face Europa League holders Sevilla.
The two sides met in the last 16 in 2007, a tie which Sevilla won 5-4 on aggregate on route to the title.
