Lucas in talks over Inter Milan move
Lucas Leiva is in talks over a potential move to Inter Milan, according to reports.
The Brazil international is out of contract at Liverpool next summer and after starting just three times this campaign under Jurgen Klopp - at times as a makeshift centre-back - he appears set to move to pastures new.
Liverpool's current longest-serving player is believed to want to join the Serie A club on an initial loan deal before making his switch permanent next summer.
However, such a deal would see Liverpool demand that Inter pay Leiva's wages, something which could be a big problem as the 2010 Champions League winners are operating under financial restrictions at present.
Lucas joined the Merseysiders from Brazilian club Gremio in 2007 for a fee of £5m and has won 24 international caps.
