David Luiz did not want to comment on Sergio Aguero's vicious tackle on him at the end of Chelsea's 3-1 win against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium - but did dedicate the victory to the victims of the Brazilian plane crash.
Gary Cahill's own goal gave the hosts the lead just before the break but three second-half goals from man-of-the-match Diego Costa, Willian and Eden Hazard ensured Chelsea made it eight wins in-a-row to go four points clear at the top of the table.
Aguero's late tackle saw him deservedly receive a red card while Fernandinho was also dismissed for his part in the ensuing scuffle.
But Luiz wanted to concentrate on the positives from his side's display.
"It was a great game," he told Sky Sports. "That's what you expect in the Premier League.
"We showed our power, it also shows our character that we didn't lose our heads.
"I don't like to speak about these type of things. Aguero is an amazing player who does a lot for football.
"I want to dedicate this win to the people who died in Brazil. It was difficult to get my head together as I had some friends there. We just need to pray for the victim's families."
Costa meanwhile believed it was a great game to watch.
"We are working very well tactically, everyone know what we have got to do," he said.
"Man City had opportunities to score second goal but they missed and when we scored we had more confidence then had opportunity to score and we did. It was a great game."
