Lukaku coy on United future

Romelu Lukaku has intimated that his future lies away from Manchester United by suggesting he will have a 'busy summer'.

Lukaku scored 15 goals in all competitions for United last season, some way below the 26 he netted during his debut campaign at Old Trafford, with his form dipping in the final months.

The Belgium international has emerged as a potential target for Antonio Conte's Inter Milan with the former Chelsea boss reportedly keen to bring the striker to Serie A.

The topic of his future came up after he scored twice in Belgium's 3-0 win over Scotland in the Euro 2020 qualifier and he did little to dismiss the rumours surrounding his future.

"I have a contract with Man United. I'll speak with my club and my agent Federico Pastorello to make the best decision," he told reporters.

"I am going to enjoy my holidays with my family now. I know what I'll do but won't say it.

"We'll see. If I expect a busy summer? Yes."

Lukaku is under contract until June 2022 with the option of a further year.
