The 21-year-old suffered a quad muscle injury during his side's Limerick SHC win over Cappamore on 26 August, and was only fit enough for a place on the bench in last week's 0-18 to 1-15 draw at the Gaelic Grounds.
The winners of Saturday's game, which is live on eir Sport 2 [throw in 4.45pm], will play Kilmallock in the last four.
Na Piarsaigh, seeking win their fourth Limerick title in seven years, play Doon in Saturday's semi-final, which is also live on eir Sport 2 [throw in 3pm].
Doon beat Adare by 14 points in last Saturday's quarter final, while 2016 All-Ireland Club Championship winners Na Piarsaigh qualified automatically as group winners.
