Madrid teams drawn together

Real Madrid will face city rivals Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League.

Zinedine Zidane's side defeated Bayern Munich in an enthralling quarter-final and next up for the reigning European champions is a meeting with their nearest rivals, in what is a repeat of last year's final, which Real won on penalties.

Atletico Madrid ended Leicester City's run in the competition on Tuesday night and they will be hoping to exact revenge on Real after losing to them in last year's decider.

The second semi-final sees Monaco face Juventus.

Monaco saw off the challenge of Borussia Dortmund over two legs, while Juventus were convincing winners over Barcelona at the quarter-final stage.

UEFA Champions League semi-final draw:

Real Madrid v Atletico Madrid

Monaco v Juventus

The first legs will take place on May 2 and 3, with the return legs scheduled for May 9 and 10.

Munster will face last year's winners Saracens in the European Champions Cup semi-final at the Aviva Stadium  on April 22 exclusively live on BT Sport, part of the eir Sport pack.
