Kevin Magnussen has been cleared to race in Sunday's Italian Grand Prix.

Magnussen was involved in a heavy at the exit of Eau Rouge during the Belgian Grand Prix last weekend when he lost control his Renault while doing 180mph.

The Dane was taken to hospital after suffering an ankle injury but he was released on the same day.

While he escaped with minor injuries from the high velocity crash, Magnussen had to pass a series of tests with FIA medical delegate Jean-Charles Piette before being declared fit to race at Monza.
