Man City sign Danilo from Real Madrid

Man City have signed Brazil defender Danilo from Real Madrid.

City have reportedly got their man for £26.5m from the Spanish giants, making Danilo their fourth signing of the close season, with the 26-year-old jetting out to join the Premier League club on their pre-season tour of the US.

"There was interest from other clubs, but it has always been my ambition to play for Pep Guardiola," Danilo said.

The Brazilian can play at both full-back slots and joined Real Madrid under former manager Rafa Benitez, but has struggled to make an impact under current manager Zinedine Zidane, making just 17 appearances last season.

City’s spending now totals over £150m, following the signings of Kyle Walker for £45m, Bernardo Silva for £43m and Ederson Moraes for £35m.
