Manchester United's expected move for Victor Lindelof has hit a snag, according to a report in Tuesday's newspapers.
The defender is expected to move to Old Trafford from Benfica once the January transfer window opens next week.
The Swede will reportedly cost Utd approximately £38m but The Sun are claiming that the move is being held up due to demands being made by his former Swedish club Vasteras.
The newspaper claim that Vasteras are waiting on a sum of £212,000 to be paid in relation to the number of appearances he has made for the Portuguese side in the Champions League.
However, Benfica are allegedly disputing this and so Lindelof's prospective move to Utd is delayed.
But the deal is still expected to go through with the 22-year-old joining to provide competition with Eric Bailly, Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling at centre-half.
