Mane set for LIverpool medical

Sadio Mane is expected to undergo a medical at Liverpool on Monday ahead of his proposed £30million transfer from Southampton.

Liverpool are reported to have reached an agreement with Southampton for the 24-year-old in recent days and he will now undergo a medical and discuss personal terms.

Manager Jurgen Klopp identified him as one of his main summer targets after Mane scored twice as Southampton came from 2-0 down to defeat Liverpool at St Mary's in March.

Providing the deal goes through, Mane will become the third-most expensive signing in Liverpool’s history after Christian Benteke and Andy Carroll.
