Martial to face Wigan
Anthony Martial and Luke Shaw will start Manchester United' FA Cup fourth-round tie against Wigan on Sunday, manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed.
There have been reports that Martial was unhappy with Mourinho's decision to leave him out of last weekend's Premier League tie against Stoke but after sitting out Thursday's EFL Cup semi-final second leg at Hull City he will get the chance to impress the manager when Hull make the trip to Old Trafford on Sunday.
"He will play Sunday and if Sunday he plays magnificently, he will play against Hull City in the next match. It's simple," Mourinho told his pre-match press conference.
Shaw, meanwhile, has not played since limping off during the EFL Cup quarter-final against West Ham on November 30 but he was included in the squad for Thursday's game at the KCOM Stadium.
With United due to face Hull in the Premier League on Wednesday, Mourinho has confirmed he will make changes for the FA Cup tie.
I will make some changes, that's obvious. I did (against Hull), and I have to do (the same in) the next match," he added.
"We play Hull City again two days after Wigan, but I am going to play with a good team - a team with the responsibility to give the fans a good performance at home and the responsibility to try and win against Wigan."
