Ireland winger James McClean has expressed his frustration on social media over his lack of first-team action at West Brom.
McClean hasn't started a league game for the Baggies since the 1-0 win over Burnley at Turf Moor on 19 August, and has seen just 68 minutes of Premier League action across seven matches from the bench since then.
The Derryman posted a picture of his World Cup qualifier winning goal for Ireland against Wales on 9 October on the social media site Instagram over the weekend, with the caption "Funny old game".
And when challenged by a Baggies' fan why he couldn't "bring that same passion to Albion", the 28-year-old replied: "Can't play with passion if you don’t play at all."
Head coach Tony Pulis has preferred Jay Rodriguez and Nacer Chadli on the left wing so far this season, but Albion are unbeaten in all seven games in all competitions in which McClean has featured this season.
Pulis expects a number of teams to be dragged into this year's Premier League relegation battle, including his own West Brom side following a run of four draws and three defeats from their last seven games.
"It's going to be concertinaed. It's going to be tight," Pulis told BBC WM.
"I think this year it's going to be tougher than any year."
