McGrath: Accuracy let us down

Leinster Captain Luke McGrath admitted his sides accuracy let them down after they were defeated by a stylish Glasgow team 33-25 in the Pro12 in Glasgow.

Two second half tries from Glasgow’s Tommy Seymour undone a solid Leinster performance in the first half which saw the Irish side leading at half-time thanks to scores from Joey Carbery and Josh Van der Flier.

Speaking to Sky Sports, McGrath said: “It was very disappointing, we put a lot into the performance. Our accuracy in the second half let us down and, It’s tough to take at the moment, we have got to be positive going into the Edinburgh game next week.

“Glasgow are a world class side, when you give a few inaccuracies they will pounce on them. We have to look at ourselves now, we could have been better in the first 15 minutes in the second half”, He added.

Leinster will look to bounce back when they face Edinburgh on the 16th of September in Scotland.
