McGregor: I am back on UFC 200

Notorious makes the claim on Twitter

Conor McGregor has claimed that he is back on the card for UFC 200 following a dispute over promotional duties.

Early on Monday morning, McGregor posted on his official Twitter page confirming that he will be on the card in Las Vegas on July 9.

"Happy to announce that I am BACK on UFC 200! Shout out to @danawhite and @lorenzofertitta on getting this one done for the fans. #Respect," McGregor wrote.

Last week McGregor fuelled speculation that he had retired from the sport when he tweeted: "I have decided to retire young. Thanks for the cheese."

UFC president Dana White subsequently revealed that the Notorious had been withdrawn from UFC 200 for refusing to fly to Las Vegas for a news conference and promotional photographs.

Two days later McGregor released a statement denying reports of his retirement, although he claimed his training had been compromised by the amount of promotional work he was expected to undertake for the Las Vegas event.

UFC have yet to comment on McGregor's tweet.
