Simon Mignolet has urged the fans to get behind Liverpool as they look to overturn a 1-0 deficit to Villarreal in their Europa League semi-final second-leg.
Adrian Lopez's injury-time strike is all that separates the two sides after the first let at El Madrigal last week.
Liverpool produced a stunning comeback against Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-final and Mignolet is confident the Reds can turn the game around when Villarreal visit Anfield on Thursday evening, especially if the fans are behind the team.
"We know when the fans are behind us, it's so much easier," Mignolet told the club's official website.
"At home there's always something possible, a European night at Anfield. We showed it against Manchester United and Dortmund this year, and over the years there have been so many great fixtures in Europe at Anfield.
"We're obviously confident that it's still possible but we have to stay calm and as players focus on our jobs, to play at our best to try and get through.
"That's what everyone wants in the dressing room - everybody in Liverpool - to go to the final."
Liverpool twice fell behind against Dortmund but they found the three goals needed to book their place in the last four of the competition.
Mignolet admits the players fed off the atmosphere and he is relishing the chance to play in another big European night at Anfield.
"The atmosphere in the stadium against Dortmund was amazing and afterwards we had that game against Everton as well," the goalkeeper added.
"The fans are there to push us on and forward, and that's very nice to play in.
"You want to play these big games and feel the pressure and the atmosphere in the ground, that's why you became a football player when you were a kid."
