Henrikh Mkhitaryan wants to leave Borussia Dortmund and sign for Manchester United, his agent has revealed.
Mkhitaryan scored 11 goals as Borussia Dortmund finished second behind Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, but the 27-year-old is keen to move away from the Westfalenstadion and has set his sights on the Premier League.
“He wants to go to Manchester United and we are still trying to resolve the situation,” his agent Mino Raiola said.
“We are still talking to Dortmund. We are trying to be reasonable. They are aware that Micki wants to leave now.”
The Armenian player has a year to run on his contract at Dortmund and the German club risk missing out on a transfer fee if they refuse to allow him to leave this summer.
