Jose Mourinho has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association following his dismissal in Sunday's draw with West Ham.
Mourinho was sent to the stands for kicking a bottle in anger after Paul Pogba was booked for diving during the first half of the 1-1 draw at Old Trafford.
It was the second time this season that the Manchester United manager had been sent off - he served a one-match touchline ban following an incident in the draw with Burnley in October.
Mourinho has until 6pm on Thursday evening to respond to the latest charge.
"Jose Mourinho has been charged following Manchester United's game against West Ham United on Sunday (27 November 2016)," read a statement from the FA.
"It is alleged his behaviour in or around the 27th minute of the game amounts to improper conduct.
"He has until 6pm on 1 December 2016 to respond to the charge."
