The Willie Mullin-trained seven-year-old is the favourite for the Cheltenham Gold Cup following stable companion Djakadam's fall in the BetBright Trial Chase at the weekend.
Vautour's last run saw him going down by a head to Cue Card in a thrilling King George VI Chase at Kempton Park on St Stephen's Day.
Mullins is undecided about whether to run him again before March, but had suggested the Denman Chase at Newbury on February 13th and the Red Mills Chase at Gowran Park on the same day.
Another option, he says, is the Gold Cup at Leopardstown next Saturday.
"I don't know if I want to run Vautour anywhere before Cheltenham," Mullins said.
"He could go to Leopardstown on Saturday for the Irish Gold Cup and there is also the race in Newbury and the Red Mills at Gowran.
"They would be the options if he is to have another run."
