Munster duo back in training

Munster have been boosted by news that front row duo Roman Salanoa and Liam O'Connor are set to return to training this week.

Salanoa is nearing full recovery from a thigh problem suffered in the win over Cardiff Blues at the end of October.

O'Connor is yet to feature in the current campaign after suffering a calf injury in pre-season training.

Munster are unbeaten this season, having won all five of their PRO14 matches so far, and have a comfortable lead at the top of Conference B.

The duo's return to action will come as a welcome boost to head coach Johann van Graan as they prepare to face Glasgow Warriors in Scotstoun on Monday night (LIVE on eir sport 1 from 7.45pm).

In addition to the players away on international duty, Munster could also be without influential out-half JJ Hanrahan who suffered a thigh contusion in the 38-22 win over Ospreys last Sunday.
