Munster could be without Joey Carbery for their Heineken Champions Cup quarter-final against Edinburgh.
Carbery missed Ireland's last three Guinness Six Nations game due to a hamstring injury and he has been ruled out of the Guinness PRO14 tie against Zebre at Thomond Park on Saturday.
The 24-year-old will not take part in any on-field training this week but head coach Johann van Graan will be hoping that he will be passed fit to face Edinburgh at BT Murrayfield on Saturday, 30 March.
"I don’t want to speculate. I hope that he’ll be back for next week’s game," Van Graan said.
"It’s a bit early to say whether I expect him to be back, I really hope he’s back. He’s going to be with our medical team this week and hopefully we can get him into some rugby this week or next week."
Meanwhile, Dave O'Callaghan will return to training this week following a foot injury and could feature against Zebre.
