Rafael Nadal will make his return from injury at the Rio Olympics.
Nadal was forced to withdraw from the French Open in round three after struggling with the injury and subsequently pulled out of the Aegon Championships at Queen's Club and Wimbledon.
Despite ongoing concerns about his wrist injury, the 14-time Grand Slam winner has confirmed he will play in the singles, doubles and mixed doubles at the Games.
"After discussing it with my team, I have decided I will play everything that I can," he said.
"We are here and practice has gone well - more or less. It's not an ideal situation, there are always risks, but the MRI scan was OK."
Nadal will play doubles with Marc Lopez and mixed doubles with French Open champion Garbine Muguruza, while he will also carry Spain's flag at Friday's opening ceremony.
Meanwhile, Stan Wawrinka has withdrawn from the Rio Olympics due to a back injury.
The world number four aggravated a back injury during the Rogers Cup in Canada and he has taken the decision to miss the Olympics alongside his compatriot Roger Federer, who withdrew because of a knee injury.
