New Stoke deal for Arnautovic

Marko Arnautovic has committed his future to Stoke by signing a new four-year deal with the Premier League club.

Arnautovic's contract had been due to expire at the end of the 2016-17 season and in recent days he had been linked with a move to Everton.

Despite the reported interest from Ronald Koeman's side, the Austria international has agreed a four-year deal which will see him remain at the Britannia Stadium until the summer of 2020.

The club confirmed the news on Twitter by posting an image of Arnautovic signing his new contract alongside manager Mark Hughes.

"I am proud and thrilled to finally let you know that I am going to stay a Potter and will continue playing with my team and for my fantastic fans," the forward wrote on Instagram.

"I suppose sometimes it takes a bit longer to make the right decision and this one comes from my heart. My family and I could not be happier. Can't wait for the season to begin."
