No injury concerns for Ireland

Ireland head Joe Schmidt has a full squad to choose from for Saturday's rematch with New Zealand at the Aviva Stadium.

All players came through Saturday's win over Canada relatively unscathed with 37 players reporting to their Carton House base on Monday to begin preparations for the weekend's clash with the All Blacks.

Munster pair Dave Kilcoyne and Darren Sweetnam have been released back to their province, while Iain Henderson is set to fully train with the rest of the squad after recovering from a shoulder injury.

Henderson was not risked against Canada but the Ulster player could return to the matchday squad for Saturday's game along with Johnny Sexton, who suffered a cramp in the historic defeat of the All Blacks in Chicago.

“Thankfully, there are no fresh injuries to report to you this afternoon,” team manager Mick Kearney told reporters.

“It was quite a physical encounter against Canada on Saturday so a number of players are a little bit sore and they’ll be managed appropriately during the week, with their training load managed today.

"There is a lot of competition among the squad. I think everyone of the 37-man squad feel that they have a chance to play against New Zealand or against Australia.

“There is great expectations and excitement within the squad.”
