O'Brien not included for Leinster-Munster derby


Sean O’Brien is the big omission for Leinster as they prepare to face Munster in the Pro14 derby at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.

O'Brien misses out on the clash having picked up a knock on his calf last week.

Leinster coach Leo Cullen has retained Joey Carbey at fullback following his side’s victory over Edinburgh last weekend, and has brought in Adam Byrne on the right wing, with Barry Daly winning a spot in the side on the left wing after his hat-trick performance against the Cheetahs.  

Robbie Henshaw also comes into the side at 12, with James Tracy named at hooker, Josh van der Flier at openside in the place of O'Brien and Jack Conan at No 8.

Munster’s backline has been dramtically changed for the tie with four changes and a positional switch following their victory over Cardiff last weekend. In come Tyler Bleyendaal and Chris Farrell in midfield, JJ Hanrahan coming in at fullback , with Andrew Conway moving to the wing, and Keith Earls coming in on the other wing. The pack is unchanged.
