Paul O'Connell is reported to be on his way out of Stade Francais after just one season.
The former Ireland skipper joined the Paris club last summer as forwards coach, signing a two-year contract with the option of a further year.
However, French broadcaster RMC has reported that O'Connell has informed the club's players and officials of his decision to leave at the end of the current season.
It has been suggested that the deterioration in O'Connell's relationship with director of rugby Heyneke Merwe is behind the decision.
Stade's back coach Mike Prendergast, O'Connell's former Munster colleague, is also expected to leave the club at the end of the current campaign.
