O'Connor cleared for quarter-final

Cathal O'Connor is available for Clare's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final against Kerry on Sunday.

O'Connor was sent off in Clare's qualifier victory over Roscommon for a high-tackle on Niall Daly.

The red card meant O'Connor was in danger of missing Sunday's game at Croke Park, but the Clare County Board have confirmed that he was successful in his appeal, with the sanction reduced to a yellow card,

After watching a video replay of the incident, the Central Hearings Committee's ruled that O'Connor had got some of the ball in the tackle, freeing him to play in Sunday's quarter-final.
