O'Donoghue boost for Munster

Jack O'Donoghue is closing in on a return to action for Munster and could be back on the pitch in the coming weeks.

O'Donoghue suffered a knee ligament injury in Munster's Guinness PRO14 semi-final defeat to Leinster last May and has not played since.

He is back training with the province and could make his return during the final few weeks of the season.

JJ Hanrahan has also returned to training following a hip injury, but Sammy Arnold will be sidelined for a number of weeks due to a hairline fracture of his fibula.

Tommy O'Donnell underwent surgery on an AC joint injury last week and is now working with the Munster medical department as he looks to rehab the injury.
