One change for Munster


Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus has made just one change to the Munster starting XV that defeated Worcester Warriors last weekend for the Guinness PRO12 opener against Scarlets.

Dave Foley comes into the second row to start alongside captain Billy Holland as James Cronin, Niall Scannell and John Ryan take their place in the second row. Dave O'Callaghan, Tommy O'Donnell and Jack O'Donoghue complete the pack.

Dan Goggin will make his first competitive start for the province in the centre where he is joined by Rory Scannell with Ronan O'Mahony and Darren Sweetnam starting on the wings. Simon Zebo completes the back three at full-back.

Duncan Williams and Tyler Bleyendaal make up the half-back partnership.

Defending Guinness PRO12 champions Connacht have also named their team for their opening game against Glasgow Warriors.

New signing Cian Kelleher makes his competitive debut after being named at full-back and he is joined in the back three by Niyi Adeolokun and Matt Healy.

Eoin Griffin starts in the centre on his return to the province following two years at London Irish and he will partner Bundee Aki in the midfield for the visit of the Scottish side to the Sportsground.

Jack Carty and Caolin Blade start in the half-back line.

Denis Buckley has recovered from an ankle injury and is named in the front row alongside Tom McCartney and Finlay Bealham as Ultan Dillane locks down with Danny Qualter in the second row.

Eoin McKeon, Nepia Fox-Matamua and John Muldoon make up the back row.
