Payet unlikely to leave Hammers - agent

Dimitri Payet is unlikely to leave West Ham this summer, his agent has said.

Payet signed a five-year deal when he joined West Ham from Marseille last summer but after an impressive debut season in the Premier League he put pen to paper on a new contract which will see him remain with the London outfit until the summer of 2021.

He has carried his good form into Euro 2016, scoring vital goals in France's wins over Romania and Albania, and there have been some suggestions that he could be on his way out of West Ham.

Despite speculation linking him with a move away from the Hammers, Payet's agent Jacques-Olivier Auguste has claimed his client is happy in the Premier League and is unlikely to leave the club in the summer.

"He has a great contract with West Ham so I cannot see him leaving," Auguste told The Guardian. "Dimitri is happy in London. Of course you never know in football.

"But only West Ham know what price they want if they decide to sell him."
