Joe Schmidt has rung the changes ahead of Ireland's first Test against South Africa on Saturday in Cape Town.
With Rob Kearney, Simon Zebo and Johnny Sexton ruled out of the tour through injury, Schmidt has named Jared Payne at full-back for the first time, with Andrew Trimble and Keith Earls lining up on the wings.
After helping Connacht to the Guinness PRO12 title, Robbie Henshaw gets the nod to start in the centre alongside Luke Marshall, while Paddy Jackson is recalled to cover Sexton at fly-half. Conor Murray joins Jackson in the half-back line.
Jack McGrath, Rory Best and Mike Ross form the front row as Devin Toner starts in the second row alongside Iain Henderson.
Jordi Murphy is named at openside, CJ Stander at blindside and Jamie Heaslip at Number 8.
